Description: This evergreen type of hardy plant gives a large and impressive display. Very broad fronds narrow abruptly at the tip and the leaflets are deeply cut and widest at the midpoint. It has scaly stalks, especially at the base, and spore case clusters are kidney-shaped. It grows in rich, damp woods in a neutral soil. Propagation recommended by spores or division.
