Description: This larger fern has fronds that are broad with dense white hairs. The lowest leaflets, near the base, are not reduced in size and the veins are unbranched. Spore cases are not covered by a rolled over edge. Grows in low woods and rocky slopes mostly in the lower southeast part of America.
