Description: This hardy, Deciduous type of fern has soft and delicate fronds of yellow-green with sticky hairs. Spore cases can be found on the edge of the subleaflet in small cuplike objects. Grows in sandy soils, in woodland openings and edges of fields. Is known to spread rapidly and can become weedy but will grow in sun or partial shade.
