Description: This deciduous, hardy fern has arched, triangular fronds that are narrow with small 'wings' connecting all but the lowest 2 pairs of leaflets. The lowest leaflets are usually seen drooping. The stalks and undersides of the leaflets are hairy. Grows near streams or in woods, on cliffs or damp rocky hillsides in light shade. A very nice addition to a shady rock garden.
