Description: The slightly hairy stalks of this fern are colored purple-brown to black. The lance-shaped leaflets and subleaflets are triangular or heart-shaped. The fertile fronds are taller than the sterile fronds. A rolled edge of the leaflets cover the spore cases. Grows well in limestone crevices.
