Common Name: Sensitive Fern

Family: Dryopteridaceae

Description: A hardy deciduous fern suitable for anywhere. The sterile fronds are finely veined and divided on the lower portion as well as lobed toward the tip. Fertile fronds are brown, beaded and conspicuous in the winter months. This fern will grow in sun or light shade and neutral to acid, wetter soils. Propagate by division.
