Description: These floating ferns have leaves that are almost round, hairy above and usually reddish below. The rootlike masses that hang down in the water are really leaves that hold round sacs that contain the spores. Grows in still water areas like ponds and reservoirs. This fern can become a very bad pest and choke out a water area.
